Jeffrey Lonnecker threw a great ball game on a beautiful night at Taub Field. With a good Maverick crowd in attendance Lonnecker went 6 innings, scattered 3 hits, and struck out 7 Panther hitters while holding them to one run. Grant Guillory earned the save throwing a scoreless 7th inning. Good defense and a good first inning where we scored 2 runs were also keys to the game. Thanks to all of the parents and students who came out to the game tonight. Great to have the BBQ going at Taub Field again as well. A very nice 2-1 victory on the diamond tonight. Next up....
